A cotton/linen blend oversized shirt with a flattering open v-neck and collar, mid length sleeves & hidden buttons. This shirt is made to be oversized and we do not recommend sizing up for an oversized look. We recommend sizing down if you like a more fitted look.
The pattern was designed in collaboration with Mita Creative and was largely influenced by Gordon Walter’s modernistic art. A kōrero on the pattern by Mita below:
“In this design, the heads of the koru meet and the pakati shape is formed from that.
In the context of tamariki and whānau, this represents the union between two mātua, with the pakati symbolising the tamaiti that comes from that union.
When layered in this way, the design becomes generational and celebrates all the unions that have come before us and those that will come after.
This speaks to whakapapa and our connection to our tīpuna and mokopuna.”
